Everett Fatal Shooting Under Investigation After Man Found Dead on 120th Street SE

Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a fatal shooting in Everett after a man was found dead Wednesday night near 120th Street SE and Silver Lake Road.

According to authorities, deputies responded around 9:20 p.m. to reports of multiple gunshots in the 1100 block of 120th Street SE. When officers arrived, they discovered a man lying on a sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said deputies immediately established a perimeter around the area and deployed drones and K-9 units in an effort to locate the suspect or suspects connected to the shooting. Despite the search, no arrests had been announced as of the latest update.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit has taken over the homicide investigation while the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office works to identify the victim and determine the official cause and manner of death.

Residents near the Silver Lake area reported hearing multiple gunshots before emergency vehicles flooded the neighborhood. Portions of the area around 120th Street SE remained active crime scenes for several hours while detectives collected evidence and interviewed witnesses.
